Team Rivalries 2010

Every F1 driver can tell you one thing, its one thing he hates more than coming second is that he comes second to his team mate.So here is our view of the F1 2010 team-mate wars in the top teams.Mercedes GP: Michael Schumacher vs Nico RosbergMichael “The King” vs the boy with genes of the great Keke Rosberg.Michael has nothing to prove , Rosberg has to live up to the hype created around him. But we guess that Michael will win this battle hands down.Nico will do well to realize that Michael isn’t used to playing second fiddle and he would be well advised to play the role of the Bridesmaid biding for his time to come. Our Bet: Schumacher VictoriousFerrari: Fernando Alonso vs Felipe MassaFerrari along with the spanish Corporation giant Santader have spent a fortune on getting Alonso on board as well as getting Kimi out of the Ferrari pit lane( as well as F1). So Economics dicatates that Alonso would be the preffered driver in the Ferrari Pits , but then again Massa has proved himself as one of the best drivers on track.Fernando is notorious for his sulken tantrums , and after what we saw in his public outspat against former teammate Hamilton we wouldn’t count on him staying quiet in the Ferrari pit lane. This is a simple case of Loyalty vs Practicality. Massa has been the Ferrari baby for several years and Alonso is Mr. Moneybags. Brazil vs Spain and this isn’t the Soccer World cup finals( it might as well be).Our Bet: Alonso gets the lead( But Massa will not stay put either)McLaren: Lewis Hamilton vs Jenson ButtonThe Big Fight. Britain vs Britain. Youngest ever F1 Champ vs Reigning F1 Champ.Hamilton vs Button. This one is almost impossible to call. Both are extremely talented . Both of them have proved themselves. When a guy wins the F1 championship he usually doesnt move over to another team which pays him half as well as it does the other driver. So when Button crossed over to Mclaren and agreed to a deal that puts him as second best to Hamilton the team order( atleast Monetarily) was clear. But what happens on track will have to be seen in the due course of time. Expect the fiercest of team rivalries in this All Brit team. Our Bet:Hamilton has a slender lead, but Button will fight for his reputationRed Bull:…
