Nicole Scherzinger Issued Lewis Hamilton Romance Rules

01/03/2010 Nicole Scherzinger issued Lewis Hamilton with a series of romance rules before they rekindled their romance. The Pussycat Dolls singer split from the Formula One star in January following a two-year relationship. Last month, they were spotted passionately kissing while shopping in Hollywood, with Nicole even joking to a shop assistant she was looking for a wedding dress. The pair rekindled their romance after realising they couldn’t live apart, but Nicole reportedly insisted on some strict guidelines to ensure they relationship works this time round. “The reason they split in January was because they were hardly spending any time together, but crucially they never fell out of love. It was just before Valentine’s Day during a tearful heart-to-heart that they decided to give their relationship another go,” a source explained. “Nicole agreed after laying down strict guidelines to put more romance into their relationship. One of those was that she didn’t want any interruptions when they dine out, meaning Lewis agreed to leave his BlackBerry at home. They also thought it would be an idea not to read stories about each other.” Lewis, 25, has also agreed to speak to his 31-year-old girlfriend on the phone at least once a day, rather than just sending text messages, and will now take her on more fun dates. Nicole has apparently agreed to reschedule her work commitments, so they can spend more time together. She is desperate for the romance to work out this time round, and hopes to settle down with Lewis in the foreseeable future. “They are planning a holiday together in the summer and it wouldn’t surprise me if they announced their engagement sooner rather than later,” the source added.
