Hamilton explain the problem in Brazilian GP
Lewis Hamilton declared that the problem he had during lap 8 of the Brazilian GP was a mistake of him. At first was believed to be a problem on his Mclaren, instead Lewis said that he pushed the wrong button, the one for starting sequence. This caused him to lose many positions and also the championship.

FIA confirm Raikkonen’s title
FIA decided not to punish technical irregularities on BMW Sauber and Williams so they confirmed the driver’s title to Kimi Raikkonen.

Driver’s championship in balance
FIA officers found technical irregularities on BMW Sauber and Williams. The problems are concerning the fuel temperatures.
Nico Rosberg on Williams finished 4th followed by the BMW’s of Kubica and Heidfeld in 5th and 6th position.
Should be disqualified Hamilton would be promoted 4th winning the championship.

Raikkonen wins race and championship
Kimi Raikkonen wins the Brazilian GP and championship. Alonso ended 3rd and Lewis Hamilton only 7th. 2nd place for Felipe Massa on Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton forced the overtake on Fernando Alonso on the first lap and got out losing some positions, then at turn 18 got a trasmission problem sending him at last place. Changing his tactic to try to recover position but finished only on 7th place.
Driver’s championship ended with Kimi Raikkonen at 110 pts, Hamilton and Alonso at 109.

Brazilan GP: pole position to Massa
Felipe Massa on Ferrari conquered the pole position on the home circuit of Interlagos. 2nd place for Lewis Hamilton. Second row for Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso, then Webber, Heidfeld, Kubica and Jarno Trulli.
Hamilton was accused to slow Raikkonen’s lap. Ferrari is doing all the possible to put Lewis under pressure.

If Lewis Hamilton survives his scare in China and drives to victory in Brazil in the final grand prix of a tumultuous season, he will write one of the great stories in the history of Formula One.
